Just one more game to go in the regular season for Badlands teams! WE know for sure that Oakland will be the one seed, and IUPUI the 2. If they make it to the tournament finals, that would be a must see matchup! Also, Oral Roberts will be the 3 seed, and they prove to be a tough out every Badlands tournament. Battling for 4th are South Dakota State and IPFW. SDSU has a one game lead and hosts IUPUI for their last regular season game, while IPFW is at Oakland, so in all likelihood the 4 will be SDSU. However, these two teams will meet in the quarterfinals of the Badlands tourny for the right to play Oakland again. Sadly, we do know that Centenary will not make the Badlands tournament in their final year of D1 basketball. Tough luck for that school.

March Madness is upon us folks! Let's start Discussin'! There are over 600 registered Bally Club users - I know the midmajor fans are out there. Now is the time!

Hopefully this year's summit tourny will be as exciting as the last one. I wonder if home court advantage will help South Dakota State with another run this year?

IUPUI Vs. Oakland - Another dramatic chapter in Badland's History! Greg Kampe vs. Ron Hunter! The Jaguar taking on the Griz!

These are two great squads with two great coaches and this will be an awesome championship game. If you thought there was bad blood in the St. Mary's/Zags game you ain't seen nothing. Don't miss this championship.

I only hope that this will be the year that the Badland's takes down a higher seed in the tournament.

I'm amazed the Badlands pulls in such good crowds in South Dakota. Whatever their logic, their conference tournament is always one of the most exciting. Last night's IUPUI-ORU game was almos a repeat of their regular season meeting at Indy: IUPUI builds a huge lead, blows it in the 2nd half, and then squeaks it out at the end!

I thought IUPUI would win, but congrats. IUPUI has too many defensive lapses. Hopefully they can get a shot at the CBI or something
