Did you know that February 3rd is National Pixelvision Day? You didn't? Well, now you do!

Pixelvision is the most awesome new way to watch mid-major basketball. And it's free! Plus, since Bally and I are grounded at the moment, it's the only way we can watch hoops. But on National Pixelvision Day, we're all going to be watching Pixelvision... together!

So here's the deal: on Wednesday, we're hoping to organize a massive Twitter party about small-college hoops. There will be many Pixelvision games on Wednesday! And here's how it will work: we're looking for volunteers to live-tweet a Pixelvision game for two hours with hashtag #pixelvision -- talk about the teams playing, the players, the broadcast, the video quality, anything!

Did I mention there are PRIZES? The six people who make the most tweets will get to choose something from the TMM Swag Closet. The more tweets you tweet with hashtag #pixelvision (yes, this is a sorry-ass attempt to make it a trending topic), the closer to the front of the line you wil lbe to name your own prize! You could WIN!

If you still need volunteers, I am in. I usually am going to a basketball game most nights, but tomorrow night I have class until 6 ET. So I will try pixelvision this time, unfortunately there are no Big South games but it looks like it will be a big night out west particularly in the Valley.

Participants will be tweeted at tomorrow morning with the game and the PV link. Remember that you do not need any special software for Pixelvision, but you might need a weird browser plugin. And there's always the chance your Pixelvision stream may not start at all, which is an adventure! So we'll have some backup games, and we might have some dubl-pixl action going on. Hott!
